2014 Ceremony to celebrate writers

Shortlisted writers in this year’s competition will eagerly attend the awards ceremony in October to find out whether they will be announced as winners. The ceremony marks the end of the year long search for the best short stories and poetry by young writers.
For the second year the ceremony is presented by the Yusuf Islam Foundation, and will include awards presentations, an impressive lineup of performances amd encouraging words by our awards presenters. Joining the shortlisted writers will be award winning authors, media personalities and other notable figures from the arts and the Muslim community.
